Welcome to Evie's Gems

My father took me to my first Gem show when I was 10. When I was 12 he built me a tumbler, so I have always loved gemstone & made jewelry. A couple of years ago I started really making a lot of them with Sterling Silver & giving them away. Our son said mom, you can't afford to keep giving them away, so he took a few to work and sold 2, then my husband took them to his work and sold 4. They convinced me to get my retail license and they became a big hit. I try to keep my prices as low as possible, so everyone can afford quality jewelry at an affordable price. My older sister kept asking what my signature was going to be, I told her I had never signed anything else I had ever made, as it was not by my hands or talent that I could do this, but God. A couple of Sunday's later, the pastor was doing his sermon on how everything belongs to God & it was a light bulb moment. I would put a tiny cross on my jewelry. That is what I now do and the rest is history.
